Summer is slowly beginning to wind down and I feel as if my days are numbered. Well, they are…25 days until I start my senior year at GVSU. I’m excited to buy new school supplies. That’s about it. I’m going to miss the freedom from long papers and textbook reading. Summer is a luxury when I’m a student. I haven’t done everything I’ve wanted to do. My apartment lacks art and re-finished furniture. I haven’t gone to the farmer’s market or the Detroit Zoo. Regardless, I have enjoyed all of the relaxation and time spent with good friends.
Waited after the show for over an hour just to meet Adam Lazaara, lead singer of Taking Back Sunday. So worth it. Nicest guy ever. TBS put on an absolutely amazing show.
I am making these delicious Pineapple-Coconut cupcakes for a Margaritaville/Jimmy Buffet euchre tourney that I’m playing in today.
I think it’s quite a conundrum that I was born and raised in northern Michigan, yet I’ve never been to Canada. What am I missing out on, eh?
I am going to write a book. A love story, perhaps. Something to get completely lost in.
I adore this cake. I think we’ll make it for my friend Ashley’s birthday party.
